The City of Bradford Pipe Band has always been built on community, heritage, and people who simply enjoy making music together. Whether you’re a complete beginner or someone returning to piping or drumming after a break, you’ll be welcomed here.

We’re a friendly, supportive band with deep roots in Bradford, and we love helping new learners grow in confidence and at their own pace.

Who Can Join?

No experience is needed — just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

What We Offer

  • Clear progression from practice chanter to pipes

Many of our players started as beginners and are now confident pipers and drummers. You’ll never be thrown in at the deep end — we help you build skills step by step.

Thursday evenings Learners: 6:30pm – 7:30pm Full Band: 7:30pm – 9:30pm
